The direct line of sight (dashed) is a fixed 11.7 m — it never changes. A barrier shorter than that line blocks nothing at all; only once it actually breaks the line of sight does the path bend to clear it, currently 0.00 m longer than the direct line — the path-length difference that feeds the Fresnel-number term in the real ISO 9613-2 calculation behind every Barrier Design report.

What it won't do is model the terrain, the buildings actually in the way, or what a barrier at that specific property would achieve. That's the part a decision you're putting your name behind needs to be able to draw on, and it's the part a bare lookup was never built to do.
A calculation, not a lookup.
Some noise APIs return a figure pulled from a national map — the same number whether you're checking a flat above a shop or a cottage at the end of a lane. That's priced like a lookup, typically a fraction of a penny per call. What you get here is different: for this specific address, we model the real terrain between the property and every significant road nearby, the buildings actually in the way, and the physics of how that sound propagates and diffracts — using CRTN 1988 and ISO 9613-2, the same standards basis a human acoustic consultant works from (see how our barrier calculation deliberately differs from the older Maekawa convention some consultants still use). Railways are assessed alongside roads using CRN 1995's distance/speed/frequency screening method.

A Trade Licence is for ordering full reports regularly at trade prices, but it isn't required just to check one portfolio.
What do “white label” and “API” actually mean here?
White label means your reports go out under your own branding instead of AcoustaPLOT's -- an optional extra on a Trade Licence, charged per branded report. API access (scoped individually) means a platform, portal or survey tool you run can call AcoustaPLOT directly, rather than someone placing each order by hand.
Is there a limit on how many reports I can order on a Trade Licence?
No -- there's no monthly allowance to run out of. Every report you order is charged at its list price less your commitment band's discount, however many you order. For volume well beyond the top band, talk to us.
Is API access something I can just sign up for?
No -- unlike a Trade Licence, which is self-serve, API access is set up by arrangement, so the integration can be scoped properly before it goes live.
I'm building a platform or portal, not placing individual orders -- is there a different route?

Your band is the monthly volume you expect and declare when you sign up; it’s set out in full, with what happens at the end of the 12 months, in the Trade Licence Agreement. The 5% band starts straight away; the 12% and 25% bands are subject to a quick business check, and until yours is approved, reports are charged at 5%. Nothing requiring a site visit is sold at trade prices — measured surveys are quoted individually and referred out. Platform/API integrations are scoped individually — see “Talk to us” above.
All prices are the total you pay. ACOUSTAPLOT LTD is not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added and there is nothing to reclaim.
Worth knowing before you sign up: our duty of care runs only to the Trade Licence holder — you — not to your own customers or anyone else you pass a report on to. If a customer of yours needs their own assurance about it, that’s something you arrange with them; we don’t currently hold professional indemnity insurance that extends to them.
