Search your postcode, or click the map to choose the location to assess — then drag the pin onto your property. On satellite view you can place it right over the house itself. This just tells us where to look: the result's own precision comes from the traffic, rail and terrain data behind it, not from exactly which brick the pin sits on. Using a keyboard: once the pin is placed, tab to it and use the arrow keys to nudge it (hold Shift for a bigger step).

Every result is calculated at a standard 1.5 m, free-field height just outside the property — the usual outdoor reference point for this kind of assessment — rather than at a specific window, floor or room. Where buildings stand between a road or railway and the property, the result allows for the screening they give.

AcoustaPLOT reports are desktop assessments based on modelled national data — a prediction, not a measurement — and are not a substitute for a site-measured acoustic survey where one is legally or professionally required.
