Bulk Batch Terms

Draft notice: this document has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor. It is written to match what the product actually does and to be consistent with our Trade Licence Agreement, but treat it as a working draft until that review is complete.

These terms apply to a single, one-off bulk/portfolio address-check batch bought through our bulk check tool without an ongoing Trade Licence subscription, from ACOUSTAPLOT LTD (company number 17389299), trading as AcoustaPLOT, registered in England and Wales. They apply in addition to, not instead of, our general terms of use. If you hold a Trade Licence subscription instead, that is governed by the separate Trade Licence Agreement, not this page.

Bulk Batch Terms version: bulk-terms-2026-10-07-DRAFT.

1. What you are buying

A single batch check of the addresses you submit, paid for up front at the rate shown at checkout (£12 per address under 25 addresses, £8 per address for 25–99, £5 per address for 100 or more, charged on the whole batch once). Results come back as a results table (address, risk band, dominant noise source, and modelled Lden/Lnight), downloadable as a CSV — this is the same underlying Screening assessment run once per address, not a different calculation method, and not a Barrier Design, Complete Report or any other report tier.

2. Who this is for

This product is for businesses and professionals — surveyors, letting agents, portfolio landlords and similar — checking more than one address at a time for their own professional purposes. It is not a consumer product and is not issued to, or personalised for, any named individual or property.

3. One-off purchase, no subscription

This is a single payment for a single batch. It does not create a subscription, a minimum term, or any ongoing commitment — buying a batch today does not commit you to buying another. A batch not fully run within a reasonable time of payment may lapse; contact us at noise@acoustaplot.com if that happens and you still need it run.

4. What the result is, and is not

Each row in your results is a transferable, non-personalised data point — you may use it, and pass it on to your own customer, as part of your own professional work. As with every assessment we provide, our duty of care runs only to you as the customer who purchased the batch, not to anyone you pass a result on to; if your own customer needs their own basis to rely on a result, that is a matter for you to arrange with them, not something this purchase provides. This is a modelled estimate from national road, rail and terrain datasets, not a measured survey of the property, and should be treated accordingly.

5. Liability

Section 8 of our general terms of use applies to this purchase: our total liability to you, in aggregate, is limited to the fees you paid for the batch giving rise to the claim, subject to the reasonableness test in the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, and does not limit our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

6. Data protection

Where you submit an address or other personal data on your own customer's behalf, you and we each act as an independent data controller for our own processing of it — see our privacy policy for how we handle submitted data.

7. Whole agreement, variation and governing law

These terms and our general terms of use are the whole agreement between us for a bulk batch purchase. We may update these terms from time to time for future purchases; this does not change the terms that applied to a batch you already paid for. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, on the same basis as general terms section 9.
